Static balancers are designed as vertical, non-rotating systems that measure unbalance in a single plane. They are particularly suited for disc-shaped, bladed, or large rotors that require correction in a single plane and can accept slightly larger tolerances.

 

These machines are engineered for fast measurement cycles with simple load and unload handling, making them ideal for both low-volume workshop use and integration into higher-volume production cells. Automation options are flexible: machines can be run manually, fitted with lift-lower handling systems, or integrated into an automatic cell to reduce manual intervention.

 

Correction is typically carried out manually, with operators adding or removing material as required. The machines use arbor-based tooling designed for simplicity — tooling can be lifted on and off easily, and configured for a wide variety of wheel, brake, coupling, and fan applications.
