Why service

Why Planned Servicing Pays

Accurate today, in production tomorrow.

A balancing machine is only as good as its last check. Worn workholding, dirty chucks and drifting readings creep in slowly, so parts can pass the machine and still come back from the customer.

Planned servicing finds wear before it becomes a breakdown, and the visit is booked around your production, not in the middle of it.

After a move, crash or repair

Calibrate once a year as a sensible default, and again after the machine is moved, rebuilt or crashed, has a sensor changed, or has a repair or upgrade that affects measurement. See calibration.

FAQ

Balancing Machine Servicing FAQs

Do you service machines made by other manufacturers?

Yes. We support every balancing and test machine, ours and competitors'.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

We run preventative maintenance programs scheduled around your production.

What happens on a service visit?

A service visit starts with a full clean of the machine and workholding, including chuck inspection and cleaning to maintain workholding accuracy. Inspections are tiered: critical components only, or a full machine condition audit. You receive a detailed report on wear, alignment and safety compliance, with repairs made on the spot where possible and a list of any replacement parts required.

How often should a balancing machine be serviced and calibrated?

Once a year is a sensible default, plus after the machine is moved, rebuilt or crashed, has a sensor changed, or has a repair or upgrade that affects measurement.

Will servicing stop our production?

Visits are scheduled around your production.

What if parts need replacing?

We repair on the spot where possible, and you receive a list of any replacement parts required.

What if the machine needs more than a service?

If the controls are obsolete, an upgrade is usually the better route. If the mechanics are worn or the machine needs to run a new part, see rebuilds.
