Our horizontal balancing machines are supplied in a range of sizes to accommodate rotors of many different lengths and diameters, from small components through to large industrial shafts. They can be configured with belt drive, end drive, or dual drive systems, and offer full adjustability with pedestal height, roller bearings, and supports to handle a wide variety of part geometries. All machines are supplied with comprehensive safety guarding for operator protection, or can be integrated directly into production cell safety systems.

 

In terms of automation, machines can be measure only, manual correction e.g. drills, or upgraded with robotic or gantry loading systems to increase throughput and reduce handling. For unbalance correction, users can choose manual setups or semi-automatic systems fitted with integrated drills, welders, or other correction tools, depending on production needs.

 

Tooling is designed to ensure maximum flexibility. End-drive systems use adapters to connect the rotor securely to the drive system, while components without their own bearings can be mounted using mandrels or arbors designed specifically for the part. This adaptability allows a single horizontal balancer to handle many different rotor types with ease.
